Equity Membership

The main feature of the Equity membership is that you are investing in the Club by purchasing a share. In fact, you can sell or transfer your membership in accordance with the Club By-laws.

Scarboro offers a limited number of Equity Shares providing ownership in your private club.  This protects and maintains the exclusive aspect of a private club.  Your voting share is transferable.  In the event personal circumstances arise that require your departure from the Club, you retain the majority of the sale proceeds.

The membership structure is a benefit for a family, one family member joins as the Senior Equity Member, and the spouse joins as the Associate Member for a very reasonable reduced Initiation fee.  Under the family membership structure we offer Intermediate and Junior memberships without any entrance fees.
